As a Senior Lead Software Engineer within the AI, ML & Data Platform team at JPMorgan Chase & Co., you will drive significant business impact through your technical capabilities and contributions, applying deep technical expertise and problem-solving methodologies across multiple technologies and applications.

Key Job Responsibilities:

• Provide technical guidance and direction to support the business, technical teams, contractors, and vendors.
• Develop secure and high-quality production code, review and debug code written by others.
• Drive decisions influencing product design, application functionality, and technical operations/processes.
• Act as a subject matter expert across multiple areas of focus within the company.
• Advocate for firmwide frameworks, tools, and practices as part of the Software Development Life Cycle.
• Influence peers and project decision-makers to adopt cutting-edge technologies.
• Enhance team culture by promoting diversity, equity, inclusion, and respect.

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:

• Formal training or certification in software engineering with over 5 years of relevant experience.
• Strong knowledge and hands-on experience in AWS, Terraform, and Python/Java.
• Ability to research, architect, and drive complex technical solutions involving multiple technologies.
• Proficiency with the Python programming language and understanding of API patterns such as REST/gRPC.
• Experience with data technologies including Snowflake and Databricks.
• Advanced understanding of agile methodologies like CI/CD and Applicant Resiliency.
• Proven expertise in software applications and technical processes within disciplines like cloud, AI, ML, mobile, etc.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in Platform Engineering is highly desirable.
