About the Role: Senior Machine Learning Engineer

As a Senior Machine Learning Engineer in our Digital Intelligence team, you have the opportunity to tackle exciting end-to-end machine learning projects. You will collaborate to solve large-scale relevance and ranking problems, engineer scalable features, and engage in ML Ops work. Together, we will create innovative systems that benefit millions of our customers across various lines of business.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead complex projects requiring cross-organizational alignment and collaboration
• Analyze complex datasets to drive real-world applications
• Explore new approaches to business problems and products through theory and experimentation
• Develop and deploy software code in production systems
• Assess risks when building machine learning solutions and prediction/classification systems
• Communicate complex issues clearly and consult on team decisions while driving broader organizational actions
• Work transparently across functions and influence peers

Required Qualifications:

• Master’s degree with 7+ years of experience or Ph.D. in Computer Science or Machine Learning, including relevant internships and 2+ years of work experience
• Expertise in one or more areas: machine learning, graph learning, recommendation systems, network analysis, natural language processing, reinforcement learning, MLOps
• Proficient in design and code reviews
• Leadership experience with senior scientists and a track record of mentoring junior members

Preferred Qualifications:

• Strong technical background in Java, Scala, and Python
• Familiarity with cloud environments like AWS, GCP, or Azure
• Passionate about working with large, unstructured and structured datasets
