We are on the lookout for a highly skilled Software Development Engineer to be a part of the Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) AI Incubations team. This exciting role involves collaborating closely with applied scientists and product managers to develop, validate, and benchmark Gen-AI solutions within Oracle's innovative cloud infrastructure. This position is categorized under Career Level - IC5.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with data scientists to understand model requirements and translate them into scalable machine learning solutions.
• Design and implement CI/CD pipelines for automating model training, testing, and deployment processes.
• Implement best practices for version control, code review, and continuous integration in machine learning projects.
• Evaluate and integrate third-party software packages and libraries to boost the capabilities of machine learning systems.
• Optimize machine learning algorithms for performance, focusing on scalability and efficiency in production environments including GPU scaling.
• Monitor and troubleshoot machine learning pipelines to ensure their reliability and stability.
• Document crucial machine learning workflows, pipelines, and software packages to promote knowledge sharing and reproducibility.
• Stay updated with cutting-edge trends in machine learning, software engineering, and DevOps practices.
• Work in synergy with cross-functional teams to drive innovation and enhance the efficacy of machine learning solutions.

Required Skills:

• Proven experience in building and optimizing machine learning pipelines using tools like Apache Airflow, Kubeflow, or MLflow.
• Familiarity with CI/CD best practices and tools such as GitLab CI/CD, Jenkins, or CircleCI.
• Knowledge in containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
• Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP, OCI) and their machine learning services.

Compensation & Benefits:

Oracle offers a competitive salary range from $96,800 to $251,600 per annum, subject to eligibility for bonuses, equity, and compensation deferral. Our comprehensive benefits package includes:
