Your Role

As a Senior Machine Learning Engineer, you will play a crucial role in developing cutting-edge solutions that enhance Carta's offerings. You’ll spend your time diving into our vast data sets, building innovative machine learning models, and enhancing our machine learning infrastructure. You will:

• Analyze private market dynamics and ownership data to understand underlying trends.
• Develop pipelines powered by Large Language Models to automate complex legal document processes.
• Create and deploy models that shape new financial products and advance our existing offerings.

The Team

Collaborate with Carta's specialized Machine Learning team, working alongside product managers, engineers, and designers to integrate ML technology into Carta's products. Our team focuses on using machine learning to power data products and document intelligence, transforming data into direct business value.

Your work will significantly impact our strategic initiatives around document intelligence and data quality. You will lead projects that enable product innovation and optimize operations, establishing robust infrastructure that supports future machine learning endeavours at Carta.

Who You Are

• A seasoned professional with at least 5 years of experience in machine learning, proficient in SQL, Python, and with a strong foundation in statistical analysis.
• Experienced in LLMs for document intelligence and text classification.
• Adept at conveying complex data insights through powerful visualizations and clear communication.
• Collaborative, with a strong inclination towards simplifying processes and a track record in “zero to one” projects.

Compensation & Benefits

Carta offers a highly competitive salary range of $181,900 - $214,000 for this role, based in San Francisco, CA or Santa Clara, CA, with a comprehensive benefits package including equity, exceptional health benefits, and more.
