About This Exciting Opportunity

Our Behaviors Team is at the heart of our innovation, focused on developing advanced machine learning models that enable smooth and safe urban driving. This involves solving challenging problems such as predicting nearby agents' actions, creating dynamic navigation strategies, and optimizing trajectories for safety and comfort by integrating data from diverse sensors and maps in collaboration with our Robotics and Controls teams.

As a Senior Machine Learning Engineer II, you will dive into both research and development, pushing forward our technology with your expertise by crafting algorithms, optimizing in-road performance, and leading technological direction. This key role impacts our business and operational approaches, making your work pivotal to our progress and success.

Who We're Looking For:

If you have a BS, MS, or higher degree in CS/CE/EE, or the equivalent industry experience, and possess strong skills in ML frameworks like Tensorflow, Caffe, or PyTorch, we encourage you to apply. Ideal candidates should also be proficient in Python or C++, have excellent mathematical reasoning, and be deeply passionate about the impact of autonomous driving technology.

Additional qualifications that will make you stand out include a PhD in machine learning or computer science, experience with autonomous driving technology, real-world deployment of prediction models, and familiarity with tools like ROS, OpenCV, and Gazebo.
