What We Do at Rockstar Games

The Rockstar Analytics team is at the core of our strategic decision-making process, delivering valuable insights to stakeholders across the organization. Our tasks include:

  • Developing innovative data pipelines and machine learning applications to personalize player experiences.
  • Building and maintaining Rockstar’s Player Analytics ML platform infrastructure.
  • Collaborating globally to support data-driven decisions that directly impact the future of Rockstar Games.

Key Responsibilities

As a Senior Machine Learning Engineer, you will:

  • Design and implement scalable ML solutions and internal tooling for real-time and batch data workloads.
  • Collaborate with Data Science, Engineering, and business teams to enhance player experience through ML.
  • Maintain and enhance Python libraries tailored for ML applications, adhering to best OOD practices.
  • Stay updated with and apply the latest advancements in ML/DL technologies and methodologies.

Essential Qualifications

To qualify for this role, you need:

  • A minimum of 5 years’ experience in data science or machine learning roles, preferably in gaming, marketing, finance, or technology sectors.
  • Proven expertise in Python and ML algorithms, including practical deployment and scalability of such models.
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related fields, with a robust quantitative foundation.

Preferred Skills

While not mandatory, the following skills will enhance your candidacy:

  • Experience with Databricks, MLFlow, and Airflow.
  • Proficiency in predictive modeling, statistical testing, and regression analysis.
  • Prior experience in the video game industry.
