We're currently looking for a seasoned Senior Machine Learning Scientist to expand our capabilities within the Supplier Advertising ML Science team.

What You'll Do:

You'll take the lead in developing innovative ML systems that enhance Wayfair’s advertising strategies, including:

• Leading the design and development of an advanced automated advertising system, pushing the boundaries of ML techniques.
• Engineering large-scale, reusable systems that enhance the overall effectiveness of our ads.
• Working closely with diverse teams to integrate our smart bidding platforms seamlessly with Wayfair’s existing infrastructure.
• Exploring new ML research, trends, and open-source tools to continuously improve our platforms and systems.
• Fostering a culture of excellence in machine learning and contributing to our ongoing learning initiatives.

What You'll Need:

To excel in this role, you should possess:

• An advanced degree in Machine Learning, Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, or a related field.
• At least 3-5 years of professional experience in machine learning, with a proven track record of deploying large-scale production models.
• Deep understanding of ML frameworks, orchestration pipelines, and tools such as Airflow, Kubeflow, MLFlow, Spark, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Strong coding proficiency in Python and SQL.

Nice to Have:

• Background in computational advertising, specifically with bidding algorithms or search ranking.
• Experience with Google Cloud ML platforms and large-scale implementations.
