Job Description

We are excited to announce the inception of the Finance Velocity Office—an entity dedicated to propelling Visa towards a top-tier finance operation. This pivotal new office will be instrumental in formulating our transformation strategy and enhancing our function's operational effectiveness. At its core, our Velocity approach integrates speed with strategic execution, ensuring swift and focused advancements aligned with our Leadership Principles.

The Senior Manager, Business Intelligence and Analytics role is crucial in this initiative; responsible for crafting and refining the BI architecture, handling analytics, and overseeing the implementation of AI solutions and automation across reporting processes. This role requires a proactive leader with strong financial data analysis and visualization expertise, preferably with tools like Tableau and Power BI.

Essential Functions:

  • Strategize and envision a modern, integrated BI system that enhances decision-making and scales dynamically with business growth.
  • Lead transformation initiatives that standardize and automate data-driven processes while fostering best practices in BI and analytics.
  • Set and monitor KPIs to evaluate the impact and effectiveness of financial strategies and initiatives.
  • Support and mentor a cross-functional team dedicated to advancing our digital and data capabilities within the Finance department.

Qualifications and Skills

Basic Qualifications:

  • Minimum 8 years of relevant experience with a Bachelor's Degree, or a minimum of 5 years with an Advanced Degree (e.g., Masters, MBA) or at least 2 years with a PhD.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • More than 9 years of related experience with a Bachelor's Degree, or 7 years with an Advanced Degree, or 3 years with a PhD.
  • Strong foundation in FP&A, analytics, and data visualization.
  • Proficiency in modern technology applications, including AI, to enhance business processes.
  • Exemplary leadership, strategic thinking, and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Ability to foster teamwork and collaboration across various groups.

Additional Information

This hybrid role requires a dynamic blend of in-office and remote work, with a general expectation of being in the office around 50% of the time based on business needs. Travel is estimated at 5-10%. Salary for this position ranges from $147,700 to $214,150 per year, depending on qualifications, with potential bonuses and equity.
