This role plays a crucial part in providing clarity and insight from vast data sets to support business decisions.

Your Responsibilities

As the Senior Manager for Data Analytics & Insight, you will lead a team of nine data professionals across Edinburgh, Leeds, and Halifax. Your team will work with the FDAO Business Partners to understand business requirements and outline solutions. Collaborate with other FDAO teams to ensure safe and secure data provision.

You'll transform data into intuitive stories and actionable insights through visualisation tools like Tableau and Power BI. Furthermore, you’ll coach your team to develop their skills and foster a strong, collaborative environment.

You'll also closely work with another Data Analytics and Insights team in Cardiff, supporting growth, inclusion, and a positive working atmosphere.

Skills and Experience Required

  • Strong Leadership: You will lead a team, helping them maximize their potential and develop their skills.
  • Data Expertise: Extensive background in data roles, understanding data-led insights and the associated challenges.
  • Stakeholder Management: Ability to manage diverse stakeholder relationships and handle multiple work tasks simultaneously.
  • Big Picture Thinking: Understand LBG’s structure, technology plans, and support future data needs.
  • Transformation Experience: Experience in overseeing transformative projects, such as migrating from SAP to Oracle.
