Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate across Agile teams to design, develop, test, and implement comprehensive technical solutions using full-stack development tools and technologies.
• Lead a team of developers with expertise in machine learning, distributed microservices, and full stack systems.
• Utilize programming languages such as Java, Scala, Python, and integrate Open Source RDBMS with NoSQL databases and Cloud-based data warehousing services like Redshift and Snowflake.
• Stay updated with tech trends, engage in technology communities, and mentor other engineering team members.
• Work closely with digital product managers to deliver robust cloud-based solutions that enhance the financial lives of millions of Americans.
• Conduct unit tests and code reviews to ensure high performance, well-designed code.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree
• 8+ years of experience in application development (excluding internship experience)
• 2+ years of experience with big data technologies
• 1+ year of experience with cloud computing platforms such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud
• 4+ years of people management experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Master’s Degree
• 9+ years of application development experience including Python, SQL, Scala, or Java
• 4+ years of experience with public clouds (AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud)
• 5+ years with distributed data/computing tools (MapReduce, Hadoop, Hive, EMR, Kafka, Spark, Gurobi, or MySQL)
• 4+ years working on real-time data and streaming applications
• 4+ years of experience with NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Cassandra)
• 4+ years of data warehousing experience (Redshift or Snowflake)
• 4+ years with UNIX/Linux, including basic commands and shell scripting
• 2+ years of experience with Agile engineering practices
• 6+ years of people management experience
