About the Role

As a Senior Manager, you'll lead a team dedicated to developing sophisticated models that enhance our decision-making capabilities across retail and small business sectors. You'll work closely with various stakeholders within Scotiabank to translate business requirements into robust analytic solutions and oversee these models from conception through to execution and governance.

What You Will Do

• Develop and govern advanced predictive models to support the Bank’s strategic objectives.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure model solutions are efficiently integrated.
• Monitor and recalibrate models to maintain accuracy and compliance.
• Communicate insights and recommendations to senior management to influence strategic decisions.

Key Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 3+ years experience in analytics roles, developing predictive, risk, or forecasting models.
• Expertise in analytical programming languages (Python, R, SAS), SQL, and big data platforms.
• Strong communication skills and proficiency in English, with the capacity to articulate model insights to non-technical stakeholders.
