About the Role

As a Senior Manager of Machine Learning at MoEngage, you will be engaging in a pivotal role comprising 75% Data Science and 25% Engineering. You’ll be at the helm of transforming our AI capabilities, leading teams that build scalable and efficient Machine Learning systems that power global enterprises. This unique position involves the end-to-end delivery of cutting-edge AI solutions—from ideation and problem-solving to developing high-scale, low-latency systems that create substantial business impacts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and mentor teams of ML Engineers and Software Developers.
• Innovate and implement complex Machine Learning solutions that enhance customer engagement and operational efficiency.
• Collaborate with Product Managers and Engineering Leaders to align strategies and optimize product capabilities.
• Apply your expertise in Python, along with big data processing technologies like Spark or Hadoop, to elevate our data architecture.

Your Profile:

• A solid foundation in quantitative fields with a BA/BS/B.Tech or MS in Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or Data Sciences.
• At least 8-12 years of hands-on experience in designing and implementing Machine Learning solutions, coupled with a minimum of 2 years in managerial positions overseeing data science teams.
• Proficiency in Python and familiarity with ML frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch and tools like Jupyter Notebook or R Studio.
• Strong organizational and leadership skills to inspire and lead cross-functional teams.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with deep learning, DevOps tools (Docker, Kubernetes), and familiarity with NLP techniques.
