Key Responsibilities

As a Senior Manager in Retail Models & Analytics, you will:

  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand and translate their needs into outcomes.
  • Explore novel and legacy datasets and methodologies.
  • Work closely with technology partners to ensure flawless implementation.
  • Monitor, tune, and govern the models that your team develops.

Make an Impact

Reporting directly to a Director, you will oversee the Bank’s Retail AIRB Capital Forecasting models and develop processes to support stakeholders. You will lead model development from conception through execution and governance, collaborating with various teams, including Decisioning, Provisioning, Model Operations, and Technology & Data.

You'll have access to advanced tools such as on-premise GPU computing, Jupyter development environments, a Hadoop cluster, containerized API model deployment, and data visualization business intelligence tools.

Qualifications Needed

General

To succeed, you'll need:

  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • A demonstrated history of analytic problem-solving and sound judgment.
  • Experience as an analyst or data scientist on cross-functional teams.
  • Strong English-language communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Remote and on-site work capability, managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Proven expertise in project management.

Technical

  • Strong understanding of statistics.
  • 5+ years of experience in analytic roles developing predictive, risk, and/or forecasting models.
  • Proficiency in analytical programming languages like Python, R, SAS, and SQL.
  • Experience with big data platforms like Hadoop, Spark, and Hive.
  • Knowledge of credit risk models and scorecards.
