Key Responsibilities:

As a Senior Manager, you will:

  • Provide strategic direction and oversee a range of data engineers handling complex data projects.
  • Lead technical strategy discussions that impact resources, budgets, and operational tactics.
  • Facilitate collaboration across teams and stakeholders to ensure seamless execution of projects.
  • Identify and address issues that affect project deliverables, escalating concerns as necessary.
  • Influence leadership discussions regarding budget allocations and technological strategies to enhance efficiency and functionality.

Required Qualifications:

To qualify for this transformative role, you should have:

  • Formal training or certifications in Data Engineering and over 5 years of applied experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership capacity.
  • Proven expertise in leading data engineering teams and guiding them towards achieving strategic objectives.
  • Substantial experience in financial data modeling, analytics, and analysis within the banking or financial services sectors.
  • Proficiency in data modeling tools and software (e.g., SQL, Python, SparkSQL, PySpark), and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, ThoughtSpot).
