Job Description

As a Product Owner, integrate with the HHIAD Data Management and Platforms team. Shape strategies, oversee execution, and ensure the realization of data platform features and products. Utilize strategic thinking, technical proficiency, and creativity within pharmaceutical data landscapes.

Primary Responsibilities

• Transform issues and opportunities into a product vision, strategy, and roadmap for the HHIAD data platform, aligned with business goals.
• Continuously engage stakeholders to refine product vision and roadmap.
• Develop comprehensive knowledge of biopharma marketing/commercial analytics domains.
• Guide the design and delivery of data platform features from concept to adoption.
• Create and manage epics and user stories to keep delivery teams aligned with the product roadmap.
• Implement feedback loops to align features with user needs.
• Prioritize work based on value, manage release scopes, and maintain optimal customer expectations.
• Collaborate with business strategy teams and external vendors to scale data assets.
• Balance user needs with technical capabilities, ensuring high platform performance and efficient operations.
• Optimize team setup, resolve impediments, and ensure high-quality software development.

Education Requirements

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, Business, or related fields.

Required Experience and Skills

• A minimum of 8 years in relevant work experience, demonstrating product ownership in data and analytics in an Agile framework.
• Expertise in data engineering capabilities and the data science lifecycle.
• Proficiency in Product Development Frameworks and System Development Life Cycle.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to build credibility with stakeholders.
• Leadership ability to set direction and motivate teams.

Preferred Experience and Skills

• Understanding of Global Commercial and Marketing Analytics domains.
• Previous pharmaceutical industry experience.
• Agile Certifications.
• AWS Cloud Certifications.
