About the Role:

As a Senior Market Data Developer, you'll play a critical role in building and maintaining data parsers to manage and enhance the flow and integrity of our financial data using cutting-edge AWS technologies. This position provides a golden opportunity to deepen your expertise in technical, financial, and cloud- & data-engineering domains within a fast-growing FinTech landscape.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Owning the development and delivery of project-specific data parsers.
  • Leading project teams and guiding team members throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Developing new parsers and data generation processes, primarily using C++.
  • Understanding and managing how data is received, processed, and delivered to clients at BMLL.
  • Collaborating with internal and external technical teams, including financial exchanges.
  • Providing second-line support for daily data parsing processes.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience leading projects and teams.
  • Solid background in working with financial data.
  • Proficient in production-level C++ and Python, with strong experience on Linux platforms.
  • Familiarity with standard development methodologies like source code control, unit testing, and continuous integration.
  • Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
  • A degree in Computer Science or a related STEM field.
