About the Role

As a Senior ML Engineer at Dendra Systems, you will:

• Develop software solutions that operate at scale by implementing advanced computer vision techniques like object detection, classification, and semantic segmentation.
• Work within a dynamic, agile cross-functional team to fuse machine learning with traditional data science methods to optimize customer value.
• Contribute to our knowledge management platform, pioneering efforts in drone swarm seeding, invasive species management, and erosion control to aid in ecosystem restoration.
• Customize machine learning methodologies to fit the operational needs of our ecologists, ensuring optimal outcomes for our projects.
• Communicate complex technical details effectively with non-technical stakeholders, ensuring clarity and collaborative success.

Key Qualifications

To succeed in this impactful role, you will need:

• Proven experience in developing practical applications of deep learning for computer vision.
• Strong theoretical and practical knowledge of neural networks and machine learning.
• Hands-on software development expertise in Python, including use of numpy, pandas, scipy, and scikit-learn.
• Experience with Deep Learning frameworks such as PyTorch, JAX, Keras, or TensorFlow.
• Familiarity with git, Linux, and deploying cloud services (AWS experience is a plus).
