Job Description

At ASOS, we recognize the transformative impact of data and technology in fashion retail. The Business Intelligence team is crucial in spearheading data-driven insights across the company. As a Senior Power BI Engineer, you’ll be at the forefront of developing Power BI solutions that enhance our business operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Transform and ingest data from various sources using Power BI query editor.
• Design effective BI data models with the Kimble methodology.
• Create performant and accurate DAX calculations for large datasets.
• Develop visual reports, KPI scorecards, and interactive dashboards with Power BI desktop.
• Optimize and review existing Power BI reports to enhance performance.
• Manage Power BI usage, refreshes, and security setups effectively.

About You:

• Proven expertise in Power BI, including report creation and optimization.
• Experience with the Microsoft BI stack (SQL Server, SSIS, SSAS, SSRS, Power BI).
• Proficient in SQL for querying and creating complex database objects.
• Ability to build reports and dashboards using SQL, MDX, DAX.
• Strong collaborative skills to maintain relationships with stakeholders.
• Knowledge of cloud computing, preferably Azure.
