About Your New Role

As a dedicated AI Architect at our Automotive AI Lab, you will take a front seat in defining the future of in-cabin user experiences. This crucial position involves working closely with Product Management, Automotive Domain Architects, and Engineering teams to shape products and find the perfect AI technology applications. Your expertise will enhance our Over-the-Air (OTA) update products, providing superior software update experiences to OEM customers and end users.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the AI Analytics team as a chief architect and technical leader.
• Design AI-driven solutions to optimize OTA campaign success.
• Manage collaboration with stakeholders to ensure alignment of requirements and delivery timelines.
• Engage with internal and external partners to steer solution design and tech selection.
• Serve as an AI technology advocate, perpetuating innovation within our OTA product portfolio.
• Stay updated on AI/ML advancements and lead your team towards cutting-edge technology integration.

What You Bring to HARMAN

Required Qualifications:

• Advanced degree in Data Science, Machine Learning, Computer Science, or relevant field.
• Over 12 years of industry experience, with at least 6 years in machine learning and data science.
• Proven expertise in AI/ML applications such as OTA, predictive maintenance, and recommendation systems.
• Hands-on experience with AI technologies like PyTorch, Kafka, Apache Spark, Python, Java.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Background in automotive services/products.
• Strong coding skills in Java.
• Experience managing ML workflows in production environments.

Eligibility and Work Environment

Willing to travel (up to 10%, potentially international). This role is based in Bengaluru, India, with options for in-office or home office settings to suit your needs.
