Job Description: Senior Principal Software Engineer Big Data (Prisma Access)

Your Career

As an experienced Big Data Software Engineer within our Prisma Access team, you'll spearhead the development of next-generation technologies. We're searching for passionate engineers who thrive on coding and product development, bring fresh ideas to all aspects of software development, and excel in a collaborative environment aimed at delivering high-quality software solutions.

Your Impact

Your role is crucial in designing, developing, and implementing highly scalable software features on our cutting-edge security platform. You will collaborate with various teams to ensure top-notch quality, suggest process enhancements, and assist with customer issue resolutions alongside DevOps and Technical Support teams.

Qualifications: What You'll Bring

- M.S./B.S. in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related fields, or equivalent military experience
- Over 10 years of development experience, with expertise in cloud services and Kubernetes
- Proficiency in building data and analytics pipelines with technologies like Dataflow, PubSub, and GKE
- Strong experience with RESTful interfaces, Build Management tools (Gradle, Maven), continuous integration, Test-Driven Development, and distributed computing
- Familiarity with Big Data technologies (Hive, Kafka, Hadoop) and cloud platforms (GCP, AWS, Azure)
- A high-energy, can-do attitude with strong collaboration and communication skills, and a quick learner of new technologies

Additional Information
