As a Senior/Principal Machine Learning Engineer specializing in Avatar creation, you will tackle groundbreaking challenges in Generative AI for 3D content. Your expertise will help us develop innovative AI-driven tools to enhance the creation of avatars, objects, scenes, and fully interactive environments on Roblox. Your Role:

• Develop and implement advanced ML models to revolutionize 3D content creation.
• Mentor and lead junior team members while providing technical leadership.
• Keep abreast with the latest research in machine learning and related fields to continuously enhance model performance.
• Contribute your innovative solutions to top-tier vision/graphics conferences.

Your Qualifications:

• Over 5 years of experience in developing machine learning models, especially in fields such as image, video, or 3D representations, or equivalent PhD experience.
• Proficiency in Python and deep learning frameworks like Pytorch or TensorFlow.
• In-depth understanding of cutting-edge deep learning network architectures and techniques.
• Exceptional cross-functional collaboration skills to drive impactful results.
• Specialized knowledge in generative AI for 3D modeling, including large-scale image/text-to-3D models and 3D implicit representations.
• Having publications in prestigious computer graphics/vision conferences is a valuable asset.

Compensation and Benefits

The starting base salary for this role at our San Mateo, CA headquarters ranges from $233,840 to $283,780 USD, dependent on job-related factors such as experience and expertise.
