Role Description

We're looking for a data-oriented process engineer to contribute to our first-of-its-kind manufacturing facility. You'll create and manage dashboards that streamline and analyze the production processes of our innovative battery technology. Your work will have a bearing on every stage of the process, from raw materials and chemicals to the final product, ensuring quality, efficiency, and safety. This position is based at Form Energy's Eighty Four, PA location (Greater Pittsburgh Area). Relocation assistance is available.

What You'll Do:

  • Create visualizations, monitor, and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to pinpoint areas for improvement within the production process and ensure targets are met or surpassed
  • Work with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve production issues
  • Be a go-to resource for data needs/correlations and statistical analysis resources for the manufacturing production team
  • Support the adoption and use of PLM, MES, and ERP systems, as well as other tools related to manufacturing and sustainability
  • Continually improve our manufacturing processes using standard engineering techniques.

What You'll Bring:

  • 5+ years of experience as a Process Engineer in production engineering or manufacturing
  • Minimum Bachelor's degree in Chemical, Mechanical, or Manufacturing Engineering or equivalent
  • Demonstrated expertise with data visualization tools (Tableau, JMP, Power BI, etc.)
  • Ability to manage and analyze data via SQL to inform data-driven process improvements
  • Experience with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment where design and process changes are expected
