We at JPMorgan Chase are committed to upholding the highest standards of data accuracy, completeness, and transparency, particularly within our External Reporting Controllers unit. We're looking for a Senior Associate on the Regulatory and External Data Services (REDS) Controllers Team to help ensure the quality and reliability of our software products.

As a key contributor to our team, you will be centrally involved in a range of testing activities which include everything from functional testing to advanced test automation. Your role will be critical in data validation for reporting purposes, collaborating closely with development and product teams to execute comprehensive test suites. Our aim is to rigorously evaluate the integrity of data transformations and reporting functionalities through your expertise in both functional and automation testing.

Job Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with product management, business analysts, and development teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
• Integrate automation solutions with the help of technology partners.
• Participate actively in daily Scrum meetings and Agile ceremonies, ensuring seamless integration with tech teams and aligning with testing requirements.
• Design, develop, and execute testing scenarios that thoroughly cover business functions.
• Interpret and translate business transformation rules into SQL scripts for meticulous data validation and testing.
• Bring curiosity and innovation to our process improvements and automation solutions.
• Exercise independence and initiative in a small team environment.

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:

• Minimum 5 years hands-on experience in quality assurance testing, including advanced SQL for data transformation/validation testing.
• At least 3 years in test automation using programming languages such as Java or Python.
• Solid understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), Agile methodologies, and Jira Framework.
• Proven expertise in data transformation testing, ensuring data accuracy, completeness, and consistency across systems.
• Proficiency in API testing with tools such as Postman, REST assured, or similar.
• Experience with end-to-end automation tests, and tools like IntelliJ/Eclipse, Jenkins/Jules, Maven, Bitbucket/Git.

Required Soft Skills:

Exceptional communication and collaboration abilities, with a knack for working in cross-functional teams.

Location Requirements: You must be able to physically work in our Columbus, OH office three days a week and remotely for two days. Specific schedules will be managed and communicated by direct management. Unfortunately, we are unable to sponsor work visas for this role.
