Job Responsibilities

As part of our PDE team, you will:

  • Develop and drive the manufacturing process for new datacenter printed circuit boards (PCBs) and CPU/GPU-based sub-assemblies.
  • Focus on manufacturing test and diagnostics software as an essential part of our test strategy.
  • Engage early with HW/FW/SW engineering teams, contract manufacturers, joint development partners, and other operations groups to implement DFM requirements, optimize costs, and build end-to-end solutions to avoid manufacturing problems.
  • Participate in manufacturing process planning, scheduling, and cost optimization.
  • Collaborate with factory personnel and engineering teams during prototype and validation builds, driving solutions to daily problems and collecting metrics to report status.
  • Work with operations teams to define and implement process improvements based on data collection and analysis.

Required Skills and Experience

We're looking for candidates with:

  • 10 years of proven experience in the design and manufacturing of PCBs and/or servers.
  • Excellent electronics systems debug and problem-solving skills.
  • BS/MS (or equivalent experience) in Electrical Engineering or a related subject area.
  • FPGA implementation expertise, including security protocols and high-speed signaling issues.
  • Knowledge of power system design for large electronic systems.
  • Familiarity with standard PCB assembly and test technologies such as SMT, ICT, robotics, quality standards, etc.
  • Excellent collaboration skills, working with global, matrixed teams.
  • Familiarity with diagnostics/test software used in a factory setting.
  • Motivation to continually improve and optimize processes.
  • Knowledge of CPU, GPU, PCIe, and HBM architectures.

Preferred Qualifications

Stand out from the crowd with:

  • Education or experience in operations research or statistics.
  • Python programming expertise.
  • Hands-on experience working in an electronics factory.

The base salary range for this position is 156,000 USD to 299,000 USD. Your base salary will be determined based on your location, experience, and the pay of employees in similar positions. You'll also be eligible for equity and benefits. NVIDIA accepts applications on an ongoing basis.
