Job Description and Qualifications:

Boeing Research & Technology (BR&T) is seeking a Senior Product Security Engineer specialized in Cyber Security Researcher.

A Successful Candidate Will:

  • Lead and support research projects to develop new concepts and innovative approaches.
  • Prove the feasibility of new technologies and build prototypes.
  • Test and evaluate research prototypes in relevant environments.
  • Transition successful technologies from research to Boeing programs and external customers.

This role can be based out of Arlington, VA or Hazelwood, MO.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development, implementation, and sustainment of product security throughout the lifecycle.
  • Ensure the security of facilities, equipment, tools, data, networks, and resources.
  • Coordinate with governments, customers, suppliers, and industry to identify risks and improve security standards.
  • Advise customers on maintaining product security and certification.

Note: This position requires 100% onsite work at listed locations and the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor of Science degree in engineering, engineering technology, chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science.
  • 5+ years of experience programming in C++, Python, and/or shell scripts.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Master's Degree or higher.
  • Experience leading and supporting research projects to develop new concepts.
  • Proficiency with AI/ML algorithms, techniques, frameworks, and libraries such as TensorFlow, numpy, pandas, scikit-learn, PyTorch, and TorchScript.
  • Experience with model compression and/or deployment.
  • Experience working cross-functionally to understand and drive requirements.

Typical Education/Experience:

Education typically includes advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics, or chemistry. Candidates typically have 9+ years of related work experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Compensation:

Summary pay range: $136,850 - $197,800 (based on experience, qualifications, and market considerations).
