Our Mission
At Palo Alto Networks®, everything starts and ends with our mission:
Being the cybersecurity partner of choice, protecting our digital way of life.
Our vision is a world where each day is safer and more secure than the one before. We are a company built on the foundation of challenging and disrupting the way things are done, and we’re searching for innovators who are as committed to shaping the future of cybersecurity as we are.
Our Approach to Work
We lead with fluidity and choice in all of our people programs. We have disrupted the traditional view that all employees have the same needs and wants. We offer personalization and give our employees the opportunity to choose what functions best for them as often as possible - from well-being support to growth and development, and beyond!
Your Career
XDR is developing a new offering to assist SOC teams investigate and respond to cloud security incidents. Protecting IaaS (GCP/AWS/Azure) requires a different set of skills than those used in traditional security and the majority of current cloud security solutions target DevSecOps teams, while Cortex XDR for cloud emphasizes SOC investigation and response.
XDR for the cloud is a unique opportunity to build a large-scale product FOR the cloud, and not just IN the cloud. (We operate a modern technology platform hosted in GCP).
You will have a truly unique opportunity to influence the development of a new product.
The new team will work closely with the PMs, cyber-research and Dev leaders, help define the requirements, and conduct a substantial part of the technical research.

The Team
Our engineering team is at the core of our products and directly linked to the mission of preventing cyberattacks. We constantly innovate — challenging the way we, and the industry, think about cybersecurity. Our engineers bravely tackle building products to solve problems no one has pursued before.
We define the industry, rather than waiting for directions. We require people who thrive in ambiguity, get excited by challenges, and feel empowered by the unseen risks that only a secure digital environment can counter.
Our Commitment
We’re pioneers who dream big, take risks, and challenge the status quo of cybersecurity. It’s straightforward: we can’t achieve our mission without diverse teams innovating together.
We commit to offering reasonable accommodations for all qualified individuals with disabilities. If you need assistance or accommodation due to a disability or special need, please contact us at .
