Join Our Team: Senior Research Scientist / Photogrammetric Engineer - TS/SCI

KBR, Inc. is actively seeking a highly skilled Senior Photogrammetric Engineer with over 12 years of experience to join our dynamic team in the Washington Metropolitan Area. This role requires an Active TS/SCI Clearance and offers the opportunity to contribute to high-profile projects across various government clients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with a team of experts in photogrammetry, computer vision, systems engineering, and software development to design and implement mathematical models for remote sensing systems.
• Support the development and testing of new sensor models and data collection methods.
• Conduct evaluations and comparisons of cutting-edge geospatial collection systems.
• Explore innovative techniques for geospatial data registration and adjustment.
• Provide technical guidance in establishing new standards for geospatial data.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Mandatory Security Clearance: TS/SCI w/CI Poly required.
• A Bachelor’s Degree in photogrammetry, computer vision, engineering, computer science, mathematics, or a related field from an accredited institute.
• At least 12 years of senior-level experience in areas such as photogrammetry, image fusion, geolocation, and coordinate conversions.
• Proficiency in Matlab, Python, C/C++, or C# for algorithm prototyping.
• Exceptional skills in both oral and written communication.
• Experience with software that utilizes Rational Polynomial Coefficients (RPCs).

Preferred Qualifications:

• An advanced degree in a relevant discipline.
• Extensive experience with Socet GXP, ENVI, and RemoteView.
• Strong background in linear algebra and experience processing geospatial data in a cloud environment.
• Published works in peer-reviewed journals.
• Prior experience in the DoD/IC sectors.
