Join Brightseed as a Senior Scientist in Translational and Clinical Research

ABOUT BRIGHTSEED

Brightseed®, a global innovator recognized by the World Economic Forum, is at the forefront of bioactives discovery. Leveraging our proprietary AI, Forager®, we accelerate the discovery, validation, and formulation of bioactives, bridging the gap between nature and humanity. Our clinically proven bioactives power dietary supplements, food & beverage CPG, specialty nutrition, and medical foods on a global scale.

ABOUT BIOACTIVES

Bioactives are beneficial compounds found in plants, fungi, and bacteria. They play a crucial role in a nutrient-dense diet, offering health benefits beyond basic nutrition. For instance, lycopene in tomatoes can reduce cancer and heart disease risks, and salicin in willow bark transforms into salicylic acid via gut microbiome interactions. Despite their importance, many bioactives remain unknown, often termed the "dark matter" of nutrition.
