Role Overview: Senior Site Reliability Engineer (Level III)

As a Senior Site Reliability Engineer at Circle, you'll play a pivotal role in designing, scaling, and maintaining our infrastructure to support a growing customer base across major public cloud providers globally. This role offers a dynamic work environment where collaboration and continuous learning are key.

Responsibilities:

• Enhance our CI/CD platforms supporting agile team environments to deliver top-notch performance.
• Utilize IaC tools like Terraform and Ansible to scale and secure our cloud-based resources.
• Automate tasks using Go, Python, and serverless frameworks like AWS Lambda.
• Design and maintain Kubernetes clusters for high-stakes production workloads.
• Advance our blockchain capabilities by managing diverse nodes like Ethereum, Solana, and more.
• Ensure robust security measures alongside the Security team to maintain a top-notch security posture.
• Mentor and support team expansion and capability enhancement.

What You’ll Bring:

For this position, we're looking for someone with:

• Over 4 years in DevOps/SRE with hands-on experience in public cloud infrastructures.
• Strong programming skills in languages like Go, Python, and Shell.
• Expertise in CI/CD platform management, microservices architecture, and blockchain systems.
• Comprehensive knowledge of database and warehousing technologies, network routing, and monitoring tools.
• Exceptional problem-solving skills and a keen interest in technology stack enhancement.

Compensation and Perks

For the Senior Site Reliability Engineer position, the salary range is $147,500 - $195,000 with an annual bonus target of 12.5%. Our comprehensive benefits package includes equity, medical, dental, and vision insurance, plus a 401(k) plan. Circle offers a discretionary vacation policy, 10 days of paid sick leave, and 11 paid holidays per year in the U.S.
