The Opportunity: What You'll Achieve

As a Senior Software Engineer, you will collaborate with experts in science, education, and technology to advance AI/ML applications. You will design, build, and scale exceptional software systems that aid educational and scientific advancements. Your efforts will directly enhance our cutting-edge AI/ML and Data Engineering Infrastructure, impacting various initiatives at CZI.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and optimize our AI/ML and data infrastructure solutions.
• Engage in active coding and systems integration, enhancing our large-scale AI/ML GPU compute infrastructure.
• Contribute to the design and execution of our cloud-based AI/ML platforms.
• Build tools and manage data in alignment with our organizational needs and security standards.

What You'll Bring:

• Advanced degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• Extensive programming and systems architecture experience, especially in AI/ML fields.
• Expertise in Kubernetes, cloud services, and various software development tools.

Compensation and Benefits

Located in Redwood City, CA, the compensation range for this role is $190,000 to $285,000, commensurate with experience and skills. Benefits include 401(k) contributions, diverse health benefits, and resources to support a variety of personal needs and life circumstances.
