About The Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and assertive Senior Software Engineer with a strong background in Java and Python. The ideal candidate will have over 7 years of experience in software development, with a focus on AI algorithm crafting, Language Models (LLMs), and Generative AI development.

In the role of Senior Software Engineer at FindLaw, your responsibilities will include:

  • Designing, developing, and maintaining AI algorithms and models using Java and Python.
  • Advancing the development and refinement of Language Models (LLMs) and Generative AI.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
  • Continuously discovering, evaluating, and implementing new technologies to maximize development efficiency.
  • Working independently with minimal guidance and taking ownership of projects.

About You

The successful candidate will have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. A Master's degree or PhD is preferred.
  • 7+ years of software development experience, specifically with Java and Python.
  • Strong experience in developing AI algorithms, working with LLMs, and Generative AI.
  • Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a strong analytical mindset.
  • Outstanding communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
  • High degree of self-motivation and assertiveness.

Nice to Have:

  • Experience with other programming languages such as C++, C#, or JavaScript.
  • Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, or Azure.
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
