Position Overview

Emids is seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer specializing in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning (AI/ML) to enhance our healthcare solutions. Key Responsibilities

Analyze Data: Work with diverse teams to gather data requirements, identify sources, and analyze data for actionable insights while ensuring quality standards.

Model Development: Create and implement machine learning models to streamline patient scheduling, applying cutting-edge algorithms to enhance process efficiency.

Hypothesis Testing: Conduct experiments to test hypotheses and validate assumptions, assessing the feasibility and effectiveness of solutions prior to broad deployment.

Solution Design: Engage directly with stakeholders to capture requirements and craft technical specifications for AI solutions that address specific client challenges.

Evaluation and Optimization: Measure and refine model performance through rigorous evaluation, continually adjusting to meet evolving business needs.

Collaboration: Partner with data engineers, software developers, and industry experts to ensure seamless integration and deployment of AI solutions within client systems.

Documentation and Reporting: Maintain detailed documentation of methods and findings, and deliver detailed reports to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, guiding strategic decision-making.

Requirements

Educational Background: Possess at least a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, or related fields. Master’s or Ph.D. preferred.

Professional Experience: Demonstrate proven experience in data analysis, machine learning, and AI, ideally within the healthcare sector.

Technical Skills: Proficient in programming languages such as Python and R, with experience using frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, and scikit-learn.

Analytical Abilities: Strong grasp of statistical methods, data mining, predictive modeling, feature engineering, and model evaluation.

Problem Solving: Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving capabilities.

Communication: Effective communication and interpersonal skills, capable of collaborating well in a team setting.

Project Delivery: Track record of delivering top-quality solutions on schedule and budget.

Healthcare Knowledge: Familiarity with healthcare regulations such as HIPAA is advantageous.

Adaptability: Flexible and quick in adapting to a dynamic work environment and new technologies.
