Job Description

Momentus Technologies is on the lookout for a versatile Senior Software Engineer - Analytics Engineer with expertise in data analysis and visualization. Join our collaborative team to design, build, and implement innovative data-driven solutions for the event management space. Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure timely and efficient software delivery using Python, PowerBI, Tableau, and Looker.
  • Work with client technologies like TypeScript, JavaScript, d3js, charts.js, and eCharts.
  • Participate in an agile (SCRUM) development team.
  • Maintain high standards for software design and development.
  • Review business and technical requirements to foster knowledge sharing within the team.
  • Conduct thorough unit and integration testing of software.
  • Stay updated on the latest development tools and technologies.
  • Utilize analytics tools to measure and enhance software performance and user experience.
  • Analyze data to identify trends and areas for improvement in development processes.
  • Incorporate data-driven insights into decision-making processes for continuous improvement.
  • Ensure data integrity and accuracy in all analytics efforts.

Qualifications

  • Fluent in English.
  • At least 6+ years of professional software engineering experience.
  • Proficient in PowerBI, Tableau, and Looker.
  • Experience with Snowflake, Databricks, and Azure Synapse.
  • Experience in database design, SQL queries, and optimizations.
  • Expertise in technologies like Python, JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, and CSS.
  • Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
  • Experience with issue tracking software like Jira or Azure DevOps.
  • Proficiency with Git/GitHub.

Desirable Skills

  • Experience with cloud services like Azure and AWS (EC2 and RDS).
  • Familiarity with tools like Jira, TFS, Bitbucket, and Git.
  • Experience with TDD, NUnit, NuGet, and CI/CD.
  • Familiarity with data visualization techniques and best practices.
  • Understanding of machine learning concepts and frameworks.
