About the Role: Full Stack Engineer, Web Applications

As part of the Visualization Apps team at Aurora, you will work on advanced 3D web visualization platforms to optimize how our autonomous vehicles perceive the environment. With the opportunity to tackle new challenges and refine system performance, you will play a crucial role in expanding and enhancing our fleet capabilities.

In this role, you will:

• Design and implement major features for our web applications.
• Collaborate with Product, Design, and Engineering teams to spearhead new features and applications.
• Promote front-end best practices and standards throughout Aurora.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience.
• Solid knowledge of computer science fundamentals.
• Proficiency in web architecture and front-end development.
• Expertise in JavaScript or TypeScript, and frameworks such as React, Redux, or MobX.
• Experience with modern front-end tools like Webpack and Babel.

Desirable Qualifications

• Proven experience in large-scale data visualization (mapbox.gl, three.js, deck.gl, or d3.js).
• Strong empathy for users and commitment to delivering intuitive and effective UI/UX.
• Background in backend development and system design, preferably in Python or Go.
• Familiarity with C++.

The salary for this position ranges between $152,000 - $227,000, based on experience and location. Aurora offers a competitive bonus structure, equity compensation, and comprehensive benefits.
