Position: Senior Data Engineer

Focus Area: Decisioning Analytics North America

Job Description:

As a Senior Data Engineer, you will enhance the capabilities of Experian in Decisioning Analytics by focusing on security remediation, technology updates, and the introduction of new features. You will play a critical role in the development and optimization of data operations within the domains of Precise ID, Precise Match, IEN, and Document Capture, among others. Leveraging your expertise in AWS, Kafka, and robust data handling tools, you will contribute to a leading Scrum team poised to make impactful advances in data technology.

• Design and maintain efficient data pipelines and warehouses.
• Partner with AI teams to prepare data models for predictive analytics.
• Implement secure and scalable data storage solutions.
• Use Kafka for dynamic data processing and management.
• Ensure data integrity and security with cutting-edge solutions.
• Utilize AWS for optimal scalability and application management.
• Lead major projects and coordinate with cross-functional teams.
• Maintain high standards in code quality, security, and system scalability.
• Contribute to agile project delivery as a proactive scrum team member.

Desired Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years experience in data engineering with a deep understanding of AWS, Kafka, and data pipeline architecture.
• Proven skills in SQL, NoSQL, and Big Data technologies.
• Experience with AI and machine learning frameworks.
• Strong analytical abilities and collaborative work style.
• Proficiency in Infrastructure-as-Code, CI/CD pipelines, and automated testing.
