Key Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will be instrumental in the development and upkeep of our software pipeline, which processes extensive satellite imagery to create authentic 3D models. These models support cutting-edge research programs for government applications. You will also:

  • Collaborate with a team of computer vision scientists, machine learning developers, and fellow software engineers in a vibrant, cooperative environment.
  • Possibly take on a leadership role for specific tasks and interface directly with our esteemed clients.

Essential Qualifications:

For consideration, candidates must meet the following:

  • US Citizenship is required.
  • Due to the sensitive nature of the work, eligibility for a US security clearance is necessary. Candidates will undergo a security investigation and must meet eligibility criteria at the time of employment.
  • An academic background in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field, with substantial professional experience (B.S. with 9 years of experience or M.S. with 7 years).
  • Expertise in Python and C++, with a solid foundation in software development methodologies.
  • Proven ability to develop algorithms from inception through to production.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Desirable Experiences:

In addition to the required qualifications, the ideal candidate will have experience in:

  • Cloud-based, parallel, or distributed computing using technologies like Kubernetes, Argo Workflows, Amazon EKS, or Red Hat OpenShift.
  • Modern software design practices and programming in C++ and Python 3.x.
  • Management of Gitlab CI/CD pipelines.
  • Holding a current or previous US security clearance.

Salary and Benefits:
