Position Overview

We are excited to announce multiple openings for the role of Senior Software Engineer, Data Infrastructure, at Match Group LLC, based in Dallas, TX, with the option for telecommuting from anywhere in the U.S. This role offers a substantial salary range of $160,000 to $265,000 per year and invites you to collaborate with skilled engineers to develop and enhance our data engineering initiatives. Embrace the opportunity to work on large-scale data systems and projects handling over 1GB of data per second and drive innovations on our high-volume data platforms used across diverse engineering teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Work alongside internal teams to identify improvements and feature enhancements for our data platforms.
• Design and build frameworks for real-time and batch data processing.
• Enable engineering teams to efficiently utilize our platforms for their data-centric workloads.
• Leverage your strong communication skills to coordinate project evaluations and integrations across multiple teams.
• Conduct research and apply new technologies within the big data realm to continuously refine our processes.
• Ensure the stability, performance, and reliability of our data infrastructure.

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science and Information Technology, or related field.
• At least 3-5 years of relevant professional experience in data software engineering.
• Proven expertise in Java and Python, big data systems, and cloud native technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience in managing high transaction volumes (1 million transactions per second) and proficiency in SQL.
