Role Responsibilities

You'll play a critical role in developing StarTree’s next-gen products by:

• Enhancing our open-source Apache Pinot software.
• Optimizing and executing query engines.
• Advancing our capabilities in data ingestion, storage, modeling, and indexing.
• Engineering robust, scalable, low-latency distributed systems.
• Designing automation tools for improved self-service functionalities.

Candidate Profile

What we're seeking in our next team member:

• A minimum of 5 years’ experience in the relevant sector.
• Expertise in Java, C++, or Scala programming languages.
• Proven experience with AWS, Azure, GCP, Kubernetes, or other cloud technologies.
• A strong background in stream/batch processing and database internals.
• Hands-on engagement with large-scale distributed systems.
• A deep understanding of multi-threading and concurrency.
• Contributions to open-source projects will be considered an advantage.
