We are in search of a seasoned, talented, self-driven Senior Developer with a proven history of employing contemporary technologies for Database development and optimization. You will get the chance to significantly influence the technical direction of our products, working with our robotics application interface to enhance its core functionality and introduce new features while maintaining and developing the backend environment. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic startup scene and is interested in entering the robotics field.

Job Description

  • Contribute to software design and architecture, including design reviews
  • Collaborate with a team of skilled engineers to maintain current and build the foundation for the future generation of Robot/Warehouse Execution Systems
  • Write high-quality code along with automated unit tests for cloud based and self-hosted SaaS products
  • Participate in integration, system, and performance testing, including test tool development
  • Show ownership as a highly driven member of a scrum team
  • Help in troubleshooting customer issues and finding solutions promptly
  • Generate test cases within an automated test framework for development projects
  • Operate within a scrum environment to plan and deliver incremental software in predetermined sprints
  • Build robust partnerships with UX Designers, Software Developers, and Product Managers
  • Provide guidance to junior team members

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, MIS, or a similar engineering degree
  • 5+ Years of experience in database development and optimization, specifically with Microsoft SQL. Previous MS SQL DBA experience is a significant advantage
  • Familiarity with Data Tier Application and automated builds of DTA or other schema migration tools
  • Understanding of object-oriented software development, particularly C# and .NET and strong object-oriented design and development capabilities
  • Analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Proficiency with warehouse execution and warehouse automation systems is a significant advantage
  • Capability to join a team that upholds current systems while innovating the next-generation platforms that manage autonomous robots
  • A good sense of humor and a capacity to enjoy work
