The DataStores team at Slack, a part of Salesforce, builds and operates the database platform supporting Slack. Your Role:
You will operate and enhance our large, highly available database infrastructure, develop tools for self-service and self-managing capabilities, collaborate with engineering teams on their storage needs, and write code to evaluate database performance. You will also partake in our on-call rotation to resolve production issues and support activities related to FedRAMP and DoD SRG.
Requirements:
We are seeking candidates with at least five years of experience in data storage, core infrastructure, or distributed system-owning teams. Candidates should have professional experience using programming languages like Go, PHP/Hacklang, Python, Ruby, or Java, and have worked with server software on Linux platforms. Knowledge of deployment automation/configuration management tools and experience operating cloud infrastructure, preferably AWS, are also required.

The hiring range for this Colorado-based position is $156,800 to $215,600. Compensation will depend on factors such as location, level, and relevant skills and experience.
