What You Will Be Responsible For

As a Senior Software Engineer at SimCorp, your responsibilities will include:

• Developing, maintaining, and enhancing application code for our Analytics software products.
• Collaborating with Product, Research, and Customer Experience teams to align solutions with customer needs.
• Using databases, messaging, caching, and other technologies to optimize our applications.
• Engaging with other developers across the organization through guilds, sprint reviews, and knowledge sharing sessions to nurture a vibrant engineering culture.

Your Qualifications

We want you to excel and thrive in this role. To be considered, you should have:

• 3+ years of experience in Python.
• Experience with Pandas and/or NumPy.
• 2+ years of practical experience with SQL and relational databases.
• 3+ years of building software with test automation/integration in mind.
• Experience in financial markets and products.
• 2+ years of experience with Azure cloud technologies or a comparable complex on-prem system.

Additional preferred qualifications include:

• Experience with fixed-income financial instruments.
• Proficiency in Linux.
• Familiarity with Agile software development practices, JIRA, Github, and SonarQube.
• Experience in environments following Continuous Delivery best practices.
• A dev-ops application ownership mindset.
