Your Role: Senior Staff Data Engineer

Join our Scientific Computing & Data group and lead the charge in data curation and operations. You will be pivotal in designing ontologies and integrating diverse data sets from genomics and clinical data to drive forward our ambitious scientific goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the curation and quality control of scientific data both internally and externally.
• Manage centralized platforms for data ingestion, curation, and manipulation to optimize scientific research.
• Collaborate closely with both internal and external scientific teams to enhance data quality and utility, maximizing insights into cell rejuvenation and health.
• Drive the adoption of standardized scientific datasets across Altos Labs, fostering robust data sharing and integration.

Who We Are Looking For

You should have a PhD in Computer Science, Bioinformatics, or a related field, and at least 10 years of experience handling complex scientific datasets. Expertise in ontology management, knowledge graph development, and familiarity with relevant programming languages (Python, R) is crucial.

Location & Compensation

Redwood City, CA: $237,150 - $320,850

San Diego, CA: $222,700 - $301,300
