As a prospective member of our Users, Listings and Marketplaces Data and AI Team, you’ll contribute alongside data engineers and machine learning experts passionate about pioneering new data products. This role falls within our Guest and Host organization, developing solutions directly influencing Airbnb's web and native applications, used globally by millions.

Your Expertise

Your background plays a vital role in your success at Airbnb. We're looking for candidates with:

• Considerable industry experience (12+ years with a Bachelor’s/Master’s in CS/EE, or 9+ years with a PhD).
• Proven ability to collaborate with various tech, analytics, product, and business teams.
• Experience designing and deploying high-performance systems with effective monitoring and logging practices.
• Strong command over relational databases and SQL, with a knack for Java / Scala / Spark and handling petabyte-scale datasets.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Compensation and Benefits

While the base pay range for this role is $244,000—$304,000 USD, exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Eligible employees may also receive bonuses, equity, comprehensive benefits, and Employee Travel Credits.
