The Opportunity: Senior Staff Data Scientist

Join our team of Biostatisticians, Data Scientists, Statistical Programmers, Clinical Data Managers, and Medical Writers. Be part of a fast-paced environment working on groundbreaking technology impacting millions of lives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and enhance data infrastructure for clinical studies and real-world data (EHR).
• Lead research, prototyping, and development of machine learning and AI models.
• Conduct statistical analysis planning and production for clinical studies, including designing studies, estimating sample sizes, creating/reviewing statistical analysis plans, and interpreting results.
• Provide statistical consultation and review clinical protocols to ensure data integrity.
• Utilize literature reviews for developing data science methods in support of clinical studies.
• Mentor and lead junior data scientists and biostatisticians.
• Collaborate with R&D, engineering, marketing, manufacturing, and medical science teams.

What We're Looking For:

• Proficiency in statistical methods, application, and programming.
• Strategic problem-solving abilities.
• Capacity to work independently and lead project teams with minimal oversight.
• Expertise in advanced data science methods and AI/ML applications.
• Strong knowledge of SAS, R, SQL, and familiarity with Python.

Experience and Education Requirements:

• M.S. in biostatistics, statistics, data science, or a related field with 8+ years of experience is required.
• Ph.D. in biostatistics, statistics, data science, or a related field with 5+ years of experience is preferred.
• Experience in the pharmaceutical, medical device, or biotechnology industry is highly valued.
