Job Description:
Candidates must demonstrate strong data visualization skills using mainstream business intelligence tools such as Microsoft Power BI, Tableau or even Python libraries such as seaborn and matplotlib.
Responsibilities:
Create, develop, maintain and support automated business intelligence products in Tableau / Power BI. Swiftly design, build, and implement reporting applications that incorporate KPI metrics and actionable insights into the operational, tactical and strategic activities of key business functions. Develop strong communication skills with a track record of effective communication with users and tech teams. Identify business requirements, design processes that leverage/adapt the business logic and frequently communicate with business stakeholders to ensure delivery matches business needs. Design, code, and review business intelligence projects developed in tools such as Tableau & Power BI. Operate as a team member and lead teams to implement BI solutions for our customers. Develop dashboards and data sources that meet and exceed customer requirements. Collaborate with business information architects to grasp the business use cases that support and fulfill business and data strategy. Collaborate with Product Owners and cross-functional teams in an agile environment. Provide best practices for data visualization and Tableau / Power BI implementations. Work with solution architect in RFI / RFP response solution design, customer presentations, demonstrations, POCs etc. for growth.
Requirements:
8+ years of programming experience and demonstrated proficiency in experience with Tableau / Power BI, Certifications in Tableau / Power BI highly preferred. Experience with Tableau Server or Online preferred. Experience with Tableau Prep and/or Tableau Prep Conductor a plus. Strong understanding of SQL and basic understanding of programming languages; experience with Python, or R a plus. Applied experience in Agile development processes (SCRUM). Ability to independently learn new technologies. Ability to take initiatives and work independently with minimal supervision. Presentation skills - demonstrated ability to simplify complex situations and ideas and distill them into compelling and effective written and oral presentations. Quick learner - ability to understand and swiftly comprehend new areas, both functional and technical, and apply detailed and critical thinking to customer solutions. Bachelor's/Master's degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering.
