Team Overview

The Foundation Models Lab at ServiceNow Research is pioneering in crafting bespoke generative AI solutions tailored specifically for enterprise needs. Notably leading initiatives like the BigCode project and creating high-impact models and datasets such as StarCoder and Stack v2, we are dedicated to advancing AI model training strategies that enhance enterprise applications.

Role Objective

We’re looking for a Senior Staff Research Developer with an ardent interest in AI. You’ll be guiding research projects aimed at optimizing large language models within the enterprise environment, streamlining data processes, publishing significant findings, and leading the charge in AI advancements.

• Lead and optimize AI research projects emphasizing model efficiency and inferencing speed.
• Innovate data curation and utilization to improve model accuracy and performance.
• Publish and disseminate research findings, establishing ServiceNow’s leadership in AI research.
• Independently manage complex research initiatives, exploring novel methodologies.
• Mentor and collaborate with team members and cross-functional groups to deepen the understanding and application of AI models.

Qualifications

Ideal candidates will have a Ph.D. in Computer Science or related fields, with extensive experience in AI research. Proficiency with Python and deep learning frameworks like PyTorch or JAX is required. Strong problem-solving capabilities and excellent communication skills are crucial for success in this role.
