Job Summary

IQVIA is seeking a Senior Statistical Programmer to join our team specialized in Real-World Evidence (RWE). This role involves working within a dedicated Biopharma company environment, focusing on long-term study activities and making significant strides in the field.

Key Responsibilities and Expectations

• Possess over 5 years of relevant industry experience in statistical programming, epidemiology, data analysis, or related fields.
• Hold a Bachelor's degree in biology, epidemiology, chemistry, computer science, statistics, or a similar discipline.
• Exhibit extensive knowledge of RWE databases, including large administrative claims data, EMR, disease registries, and clinical trial data.
• Demonstrate a strong proficiency in SAS programming designed to manage complex inclusion and exclusion criteria, perform propensity score matching, and develop outcome metrics.
• Experience with R programming is highly preferred.
• Ability to execute statistical analysis plans using advanced programming techniques to perform detailed and intricate analyses relevant for real-world evidence.
• Commit to maintaining high standards of data accuracy and integrity by implementing rigorous quality control processes throughout data handling and analysis phases.
• Showcase the ability to quickly adapt to new requirements and efficiently handle ad-hoc requests.
• Possess strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Compensation and Benefits

The potential base pay range for this role, when annualized, is $106,200.00 - $177,000.00. Actual base pay may vary based on a variety of factors including job-related qualifications such as skills, education, experience, location, and schedule (full or part-time). Depending on the position, additional incentive plans, bonuses, and other forms of compensation may be offered, along with a range of health and welfare and other benefits.
