Join Our Trust and Safety Operations as a Senior Strategist for Generative AI at Google

We're seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Strategist for Generative AI to join our dynamic Trust and Safety team. This role focuses on maintaining the safety and integrity of our innovative products, ensuring optimal user experience and trust across our global platforms.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• At least 4 years of experience in data analysis or working with analytical tools such as SQL, Python, and business intelligence dashboards.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Proven experience in dealing with issues related to spam, fraud, or malware.
• Experience in product policy analysis and the identification of policy risks.
• Skilled in statistical analysis and hypothesis testing.
• Background in analyzing machine learning model performance, especially working on Large Language Models (LLM).
• Outstanding influencing skills and capability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

About the Role:

You will be part of a team that uses technical prowess, excellent problem-solving capabilities, and proactive communication to tackle significant safety challenges across Google products such as Search, Maps, Gmail, and Google Ads. As a strategic thinker and a key team player, you will coordinate globally and cross-functionally with Engineers and Product Managers to combat abuse and fraud swiftly and effectively. Key Responsibilities:

• Establish metrics to benchmark AI-related issues and measure improvement.
• Analyze data to derive insights for identifying and mitigating abuse across various products.
• Drive the delivery of projects, challenge existing proposals, and pinpoint potential risks.
• Work collaboratively with various teams to refine tools and processes through insightful data analysis and stakeholder presentations.
• Identify and implement opportunities for automation and process improvements.
