About the Role

As a Senior Technical Data Engineer, you will:

• Work through all phases of the software development life cycle, including analysis, design, implementation, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
• Write clean code and apply industry best practices.
• Review designs, code, unit test, and technical documentation created by other engineers.
• Analyze problems, develop and propose solutions.
• Prepare and study the technical feasibility and estimates of proposed systems solutions.
• Collaborate with team members to achieve mutual improvements.
• Provide timing/scheduling estimates to product owners and propose corrective actions when necessary.
• Ensure an efficient handover through high-quality documentation and training.

What Will Make You Successful?

Ideal candidates will have:

• 6 - 10 years of software development experience, preferably in an international setting.
• Proficiency in either Java or Python and a good understanding of OOP.
• Experience with Relational Databases (e.g., Oracle, MySQL) or NoSQL Databases.
• Working experience in API benchmarking with tools such as JMeter and Postman.
• Familiarity or experience with big data technologies like Elastic Search, Logstash, Kibana, and Kafka.
• Experience with SOA technologies such as microservices, REST, and SOAP is a plus.
• Experience with CICD development & deployment tools like Ansible, Maven, Jenkins, Nexus, Git, Docker, and OpenShift is a plus.
• Exposure to various OS platforms such as Windows and Linux.
• Practical working experience in an Agile-driven team.
• Strong interpersonal skills, a customer-centric attitude, and the ability to deal with cultural diversity.
• A demonstrated ability to collaborate with local and remote teams in different time zones.
• Proficiency in the DevOps principal model, including support and maintenance on product delivery.
