Job Description

Role Summary

  • Leads cross-functional teams including data team in significant client conversations and offerings.
  • Plays a principal role in pitches.
  • Plays an essential role in cross-functional engagements.
  • Responsible for capacity planning and utilization.

SKILLS & RESPONSIBILITIES

Data Strategy

  • Structures solutions from unclear challenges.
  • Recognized nationally as a "thought leader" for strategic insight and the capability to apply insights to various client situations (core client work, BD, etc.).
  • Viewed as a subject matter expert in multiple areas by clients and internal teams and possesses broad knowledge across other data domains to suggest suitable strategic ideas.
  • Promotes alignment with internal and external stakeholders to implement strategy and meet specific business goals of various clients.
  • Leads execution of diverse work streams confidently.

Communication Skills

  • Able to foresee and respond to internal client needs based on solid collaboration.
  • Commanding client and other external audiences, exhibiting expertise and raising discussions as needed.
  • Tailors presentations to C-level executives and general audience as required.
  • Able to lead various types of work sessions, client meetings or business development discussions with less structured agendas, assisting others in assuming leadership roles to support the overall business goal.
  • Effectively communicates the value of the Data organization to internal stakeholders.
  • Drives external communications and public relations (speaking/writing, etc.).
  • Effectively communicates Data offerings and value to partners and practices.

Client Engagement

  • Visible to senior external clients and is a trusted advisor to mid-level client management.
  • Can identify the main issues facing the client and develops recommended approaches.
  • Takes the initiative to gain new business partnerships.
  • Leads the advancement of a major client strategic agenda.
  • Keeps track of and demonstrates the value generated by the data team.
  • Focuses on increasing the share and profitability of a client's business.
  • Actively engages senior client team to inform them about industry and client-specific strategic matters.
  • All clients regard as an expert on industry and client-specific strategic issues.
  • Understands key levers to improve client business, including networking / visibility of clients.

Qualifications

Typical years of experience: 15+ years of experience.

Tools & Techniques

  • Expertise in a wide variety of data tools and platforms and gives recommendations to cross-functional teams.
  • Able to work with vendors and direct them in improving their vision, services, and products.
  • Able to expand upon data team offerings through collaborations with vendors.

  • Planning and Implementation
    • Proponent of innovative ways to drive data science and analytics value across multiple stakeholders.
    • Accurately assesses opportunities to enhance client capabilities, and creates alignment with stakeholders for process improvements to maximize data capabilities.

    • Able to create long-term cross-channel insights that advance client business forward, demonstrating return on investment on analytics investments to clients.

Compensation Range: $230,000 - $300,000. This is the pay range we foresee for this position at the time of this posting. As per the law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and we reserve the right to modify this pay range at any time. For this role, the Company will offer medical coverage, dental, vision, disability, 401k, and paid time off.
